Adult male driver taken into custody after pursuit

COSHOCTON – On Dec. 13, at 10:43 a.m. a Coshocton County road patrol deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Kraft foods on Second Street. The suspect vehicle fled the area and the officer initiated a pursuit. Multiple deputies assisted in this pursuit which ended in Muskingum County at 11:05 a.m. The adult male driver was alone in the vehicle and taken into custody with the assistance of K-9 officer Henata.

Formal felony charges are anticipated after review by Coshocton County Prosecutor Jason Given. No injuries were reported from this incident.

Assisting the sheriff’s office were Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, OSP and Prince’s Wrecker.

This investigation remains ongoing by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
