Angeline “Angie” Peters

COSHOCTON – Angeline “Angie” Peters, 83, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born in Duluth, MN to the late Helen (Marnich) Caldwell and Step-father Aaron Caldwell and moved to Marion, Ohio when she was 10 years old.

Angie graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1953 and married Richard Peters on October 9, 1953; they just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past year. She is a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school as well as began and lead a Brownies Troop. She also loved teaching swimming lessons for the Red Cross at Lake Park; was an avid golfer, enjoyed card club and was a member of the bowling club league.

Angie worked for the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital for 16 years in various positions.

Along with her husband, Richard, Angie is survived by her two daughters, Vicki James-Miller of New Albany, Ohio and Debbie (Michael) Paquette of Upton Massachusetts; two grandchildren Emma James and Peter (Lusine) James; one step granddaughter Ashley Paquette; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Joe Saunders officiating.  Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Saturday at Grand Prairie Cemetery, 4964 Brush Ridge Dr. N., Marion, Ohio 43302 with Pastor Bill Eckert officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the First Baptist Church or Community Hospice of Coshocton; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
