Armed robbery reported

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Sheriff’s office received a 911 call on Dec. 21, at approximately 4:27 a.m., in reference to an armed robbery. Once on scene an investigation began and soon four people were sought in connection with the robbery.

At 2:23 p.m. a female was taken into custody and officers continued to look for the remaining suspects.

At 9:38 p.m. a male and female were also taken into custody by SRT officers in the 300 block of Hamilton Avenue, after a search warrant for the residence was procured.

While searching the residence, the fourth suspect was found deceased at the scene with what initially appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

An Investigator from BCI was called to the scene to assist detectives with the investigation.

Assisting with the investigation are the Coshocton County Prosecutor Jason Given, the Coshocton County Coroner Dr. Gwinn, BCI, and assisting at the scene was the Coshocton County SRT and Coshocton County EMS.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
