COSHOCTON – Casee Allen will return to Coshocton on July 4 for a Hometown Concert at Lake Park at 6 p.m. Allen was recently in Coshocton in April to perform a concert in his hometown.

“I came back to simply celebrate my family and friends and to give homage to my hometown,” said Allen. “I’m not sure how many more local shows I can do, so I wanted to make sure that I came back.”

Allen is a 2008 graduate of Coshocton High School and started his love of music when he was younger.

“It started when I was a kid at my Uncle Tim’s house in Keene,” said Allen. “I was going through a breakup at the time and I started singing around the bonfire in my uncle’s back yard. Eventually, people came to my uncle’s house to watch me sing, and soon enough, I became so popular and well known that my uncle’s back yard wouldn’t fit all of the people!”

Allen performs country music and just recently released his single hit, “Shot of You”. It is available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, etc.

“I grew up around music all my life,” said Allen. “My Dad, Stepdad, and Mom all sang. Garth Brooks is one of my biggest inspirations, but my son Jace is definitely my biggest source of motivation and drive.”

Allen never initially wanted to make a career out of singing. He just liked music as more of a hobby.

“I felt very welcomed when I returned in April,” he said. “I was very surprised at all of my fans I had from not only Ohio, but also from all across the country. I want to give a big thanks to the City of Coshocton and all of its citizens. I want to also give thanks to my Uncle Tim and especially my son Jace.”
