Charles Richard ‘Dick’ Mosholder

He was born Dec. 14, 1946 in Mt. Vernon to the late Robert R. Mosholder and Betty Maxine (Fairall) Mosholder Shade. After graduating from Cambridge High School in 1965, he served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969. He was a self-employed contractor until his retirement.

Dick was a 32nd Degree Freemason, a member of the Moose, V.F.W., Eagles, and an avid OSU and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed golfing, and watching golf on TV, as well as NASCAR. He loved traveling and especially boating trips.

He is survived by his wife, Terri (Marlatt) Mosholder of Cambridge, whom he married June 10, 1967; his children, Rick (Anne) Mosholder of N. Canton, Lori (Rick) Rominger of Cambridge, and Amy (Doug) Phillips of Chesnee, SC; his grandchildren, Caroline, Thomas, Dylan, Josie, Jonathan, and Jacob; a brother, Dale (Ginny) Mosholder of Heath; a nephew, Toby Mosholder of Walhonding; a niece, Melanie Romine of Martinsville; and two step-sisters, Debra McWire and Luanne Chuhaloff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Wilbur Shade.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Cambridge V.F.W., 1427 East Wheeling Ave. Cambridge, OH 43725, with Michael Mosholder officiating.
