Charles S. George

Charles S. George, 65, of West Lafayette passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home. He was born in Fallsburg, Ohio on April 13, 1955 to the late Floyd and Carolyn (George) Priest.

Charlie graduated from River View High School and worked for the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy for 22 years. He was a member of the Coshocton Eagles and American Legion. He loved camping at Shady Grove Campground, watching Ohio State, the Cleveland Browns, and spending time with his family.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Debby (Howell) George, whom he married June 26, 2004; son Bryan (Tiffany Brown) George; daughter Chasity (Josh) Eells; grandchildren Nicholas Addy, Brice, Logan and Cooper George, and Addison and Calleigh Eells; great granddaughter Emberley George; sister Edith (Floyd) Jewel; two brothers Dave (Theresa) Priest and John Priest; and one fur baby, Foxy.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his stepsons, Steve and Troy Addy.

Per Charlies wishes a cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Coshocton is serving the family. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
