CHS hosts 300 swimmers

COSHOCTON – On Dec. 9, Coshocton High School Janet Jones Milligan Natatorium hosted the 2017 CHS Swimming Invitational this year dedicated to Scott W. Simpson. More than 300 swimmers from 16 teams competed.

Emily Casey from Coshocton took first place in the 400 meter freestyle with a time of 5:40.03 and took third place in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:19.63.

Marietta took first place overall for the girls and Watkins Memorial took first place for the boys.

Coshocton hosts its next meet Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. against Bishop Rosecrans, Maysville, Philo and Granville.
