Coshocton Elementary School hands out popsicles to students

COSHOCTON – On Thursday, Aug. 15, the staff at Coshocton Elementary School handed out popsicles to their students at various locations throughout the city including the courtsquare, City Hall, Papa John’s, Glenview Way, The Meadows, Himebaugh Lot, and Bancroft Park. Pictured is Sophia Dean, who will be going to kindergarten this year, as she meets her kindergarten teacher for the first time, Ashley Coffman. “I’m excited to learn,” said Dean about starting kindergarten. Assistant Principal John Casey said, “We just wanted to welcome the kids back to school and let them know that school is fun.”
