COTC names new advisory board members for Coshocton

NEWARK – Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) appointed Lynn Jacobs and Robert Miller to the Coshocton Campus Advisory Board. Their terms began January 2013. 

Jacobs currently serves as the Work Force Administrator for Coshocton County Job & Family Services (CCJFS). He has worked for CCJFS since 2009, when he held the position of Adult Literacy and Basic Education Director. He had previously worked for the General Electric Electromaterials Company in Coshocton County.

Jacob’s community involvement includes the United Way Board of Directors, United Way Executive Committee, Footlight Players Trustee and past president of the Kiwanis Club.

Miller is the CEO of Coshocton County Memorial Hospital (CCMH), where many COTC nursing students have clinical rotations, and many graduates are employed. He is a member of the Coshocton Rotary Club.

Central Ohio Technical College is a fully accredited two-year college dedicated to providing high quality, accessible programs of technical education in response to current and emerging employment needs, as well as encouraging the professional development of students, staff, faculty and administrators to assist them in achieving their maximum potential. COTC operates campus locations in Newark, Coshocton, Knox and Pataskala.
