WARSAW – Daniel Lee Peterson, 71, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 21, 1946 in Wilmington, DE to the late Charles William Peterson and Martha (Thomas) Lovell Peterson. He was a graduate of John Conrad High School in Wilmington, DE, and he later graduated from Ohio University as a Registered Nurse. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. He was a regular donor to several charities, including the World Vision Fund, Operation Christmas Child, and Samaritan’s Purse. He enjoyed playing guitar and photography.

He is survived by his wife, Doreen (Kagarise) Peterson of Warsaw; four children, Joshua Peterson (Joshua Duff) of Coshocton, May Peterson of Kansas City, MO, Adam (Megan) Peterson of Zanesville, and Alexandria Peterson of Warsaw; and a grandson, Gabriel Peterson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 at Camp Echoing Hills, 36272 CR 79 Warsaw, OH 43844. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
