Donald Lewis ‘Donnie’ Park

Donald Lewis “Donnie” Parks, 63, passed away at 2:20 P.M., Sunday, November 30, 2014 at his home in West Lafayette.

Born November 4, 1951, he was the son of the late James Budd Parks and Edna Leona (Domer) Almack of West Lafayette.

Donnie was a self-employed, well known car, truck and small engine mechanic.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed mushroom hunting, gardening, and watching Nascar racing.

In addition to his mother, Donnie  will truly be missed by his three sons Michael Kyle, Greg (Dalelynn) Kyle all of West Lafayette, Shawn Parks of Newcomerstown; two daughters Letishia (Randy Quillin) Parks of Port Washington, Donell (Jim Mutersbaugh) Parks of West Lafayette; five brothers James E. (Shirley) Parks, Mark A. Parks, Anthony “Tony” E. Parks, H. Ray Parks all of Coshocton, Richard “Squeak” Parks of Warsaw; three sisters Linda “Sam” Bush, Minnie Esther (Larry) Dusenberry all of Coshocton, Bobba (Gary Williams) Stone of Canal Lewisville; step-mother Ruth Ann Parks of Coshocton; step-brother Charles (Martha) Almack of Coshocton; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; close friends Chris Eckleberry, Barb Phillips, Penny Brickey and son Matthew all of West Lafayette.

In addition to his father, Donnie was preceded in death by his step-father Clarence L. Almack, sisters Patricia Parks, Della Louise Parks and brother William “Billy” Parks.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton. Services will follow at 7:00 P.M., Friday with Pastor Larry Massie officiating at the Free Funeral Home.

Burial of the Cremains will be held at South Lawn Cemetery at a later date.

Memoriums may be made to the Donald L. Parks Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 961, Coshocton, OH 43812. Envelopes are available at the Free Funeral Home.
