Donald Richard Johnson, 63, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born April 25, 1957, in Canton to the late James Richard and Betty Jane (Solvey) Johnson. He was a former employee of the City of Canton Street Department. He was a member of the Coshocton Moose Lodge, and the Perry Chapel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Susan “Sue” (Gaff) Johnson of Warsaw, whom he married Sept. 17, 1977; two sons, Richard Johnson of Warsaw, and William Johnson of Wakatomika; a granddaughter, Jayden Johnson of Wakatomika; a sister, Karen Bechtol of South Carolina; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Johnson of Canton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Perry Chapel Baptist Church, with Pastor Dave Fowls officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
