Dorothy A. ‘Dot’ Valentine

Dorothy A. “Dot” Valentine, 64, of Coshocton passed away at her home on Tuesday December 4, 2012. 

Dot was born in Dennison, Ohio on March 10, 1948 to the late William and Ethel (Preston) Newell. 

For many years, Dot was the dispatcher for the Coshocton Cab Company on Walnut St., she also devoted much of her time taking care of people around her. 

She is survived by her children Richard Goodrich, Tony Goodrich of Coshocton and Michelle Goodrich of  M.D.; long time companion Woodrow “Woody” Cox of Coshocton; brother Bill Newell of Coshocton; two sisters Karen (Max) Hupp of Warsaw and Harriett (Harold) Guilliams of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Butch Newell and sister in law Lena Newell. 

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Thursday December 6, 2012 from 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
