Edward M. ‘Ed’ Shaw

COSHOCTON – Edward M. “Ed” Shaw, 67, of Coshocton passed away at his home on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020 with his devoted family by his side.

Ed was born in Coshocton on May 13, 1952 to the late Emmett and Florence (Bender) Shaw. He graduated from River View High School, class of 1972. He worked at The Longaberger Company for fifteen years and Sandcast in Coshocton for ten years.

He treasured spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors and building things around his home.

Ed is survived by his wife, soulmate and best friend Peggy L. Shaw; children Tabatha (Basil) Lanham of West Lafayette, B.J. (Misty) Shaw of Warsaw, Erin Shaw of Warsaw, Nick (Melissa) Hammersley, Tracie (Jack) Caley and Phillip Hammersley all of Coshocton; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings Butch (Julia) Shaw and Jimmy (Karen) Shaw both of Coshocton, Kevin (Jen) Shaw of West Lafayette and Rhea Hampton of Coshocton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter April Yoder; siblings Darlene Cognion, Judy Cunningham, Sandy Shaw, Sue McNichols, Gary Shaw and Linda Shaw.

Per his wishes, a cremation will take place, no services will be scheduled.
