Eleanor R. Kirker, 86, of Coshocton passed away at her home with her loving family by her side on Saturday December 5, 2015.

Eleanor was born in Coshocton to the late Oliver G. and Nellie A. (Richardson) Meek on June 10, 1929. She graduated from Union High School, was a member of Branch United Methodist Church and loved playing cards, especially Euchre.

Eleanor treasured her time with her family and her special feline companion “Sassy.”

She is survived by her children Kathy Collins, Denver Kirker, Janie (Vic) Cox and Candy (Derek) Hostetter all of Coshocton; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded death by her husband Mack, who passed away on December 30, 1990 and her four brothers Kenneth, Asa, Virgil and Jimmy Meek.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bill Jones and Pastor Joel Mason officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Interim Hospice of Coshocton, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
