Riley, Ellen001COSHOCTON- Ellen Elaine Riley, 78, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation in West Lafayette.

She was born Dec. 12, 1938 in Summit Co. to the late Earl and Gladys (Meffert) Johnson.  She was a broker & realtor in Port Charlotte, FL for many years, and a former employee of the Longaberger Basket Co. until her retirement.  She was a member of the Coshocton Co. Master Gardeners, the Coshocton Quilt Guild, and the Roscoe Herb Society.  She loved gardening, sewing, and cooking. You could say she was a true grandmother in every sense of the word.

She is survived by five children, Diana Wesney (Mike Darnell), Robert Williams, Jennifer (Dane) Albertson, and Sherry MacDonald, all of Coshocton, and Rebecca (Jamie) Eubanks of Akron; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Steven (Bobbi) Johnson of Caldwell, David (Gail) Johnson of Brandon, FL, and Jeffrey Johnson of Newcomerstown; and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill & Earl Johnson; two sisters, Mary Burkett & Donna Bowers; and two grandchildren, Laura Angel Williams & Spencer Logan Schaub.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor James Burkett officiating.  Burial will follow in Tiverton Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to service time.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
