George Siegrist

WESTERVILLE – George Siegrist, of Westerville, passed away January 27, 2019 with his loving daughter by his side.

George was born in Coshocton on August 13, 1918, the son of the late Carl S. and Mabel P. Siegrist. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, LaVerne G. Siegrist, and brother. Carl R. Siegrist.  He is survived by his daughter, Susan A. Siegrist of Westerville, and nephew, Carl R. Siegrist of Bainbridge Island, WA.

George graduated from Coshocton High School and Denison University where he was a proud member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He was a long time Vice President of Jones Metal Products Company and President of Abolite Lighting, Inc., West Lafayette, Ohio.  He held many other organization positions and was a member of the Coshocton Presbyterian Church.  An avid golfer, he enjoyed playing many courses over his lifetime. He lived in Newport Beach, CA for 30 years and traveled extensively before returning to Ohio in 2009.

Per his wishes, a cremation will take place and a private interment will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend thanks to Michelle, Dale, and Lucy for their loving care through Mt. Carmel Hospice.
