Interim Hospice of Coshocton to celebrate National Volunteer Week

| April 8, 2019

COSHOCTON – Interim Hospice of Coshocton will celebrate National Volunteer Week with a luncheon for Hospice volunteers on Wednesday, April 17 at 11:30 a.m. at their office.

National Volunteer Week, held April 14 to 21, sponsored by the Points of Light Organization, is an opportunity to celebrate the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to come together to tackle tough challenges and build stronger, more resilient communities. Each year, organizations shine a light on the people and causes that inspire us to serve, recognizing, and thanking volunteers who lend their time, talent, and voice to make difference in their communities. National Volunteer Week was originally established by presidential proclamation in 1974 to highlight the various opportunities for those interested in volunteering.

Interim Hospice of Coshocton will have the next volunteer training session the week of May 13. All applicants must complete a background check, fingerprints, and a two-step TB along with application materials. Anyone interested in this opportunity should call Janet at 740-623-2331 or email to [email protected] to receive an application and set up an interview by April 30.

Interim Hospice of Coshocton serves patients and families in Coshocton, Guernsey, Holmes, and Tuscarawas Counties. For more information, call 740-623-2331.
