Katheen Knapp PictureWEST LAFAYETTE – Kathleen Ann “Kay” Knapp, 70, of West Lafayette passed away at her home on Friday September 4, 2015.

Kay was born in Corry, PA on October 27, 1944 to the late Charles and Doris (Scouten) Wetherbee. She graduated from Spartansurg High School and the Erie Business Center. Kay was an office manager for Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation for over twenty years and Oak Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in Baltic for over ten years.

Kay was a member of Baltic United Methodist Church. She was a selfless kind simple lady and truly loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Kay enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening, and fishing trips to Canada.

Kay is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-one years R. Thomas “Tom” Knapp whom she married on November 27, 1963; two loving daughters Shelly Knapp of Massillon, OH and Marcia (Greg) Hykes of Galion; grandchildren Jessica Hykes, Jordan (Keath) Douglas, Julie Hykes, Jenna Hykes, Amanda (Daniel) Heflin and John Barnes; great grandchildren Luke Remy, Sadie Remy, Sydni Setser and Eileen Kildow; sisters Marleen (David) DeLauder of Vinton, VA, Gayle (Charles) Johnson of Warren, PA, Wanda (Jack) Dillon of Corry, PA and Lorretta Dingfelder of Centersville, PA; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday September 13, 2015 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 4:00 PM with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating.

Per Kay’s wishes, a cremation will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice” and/or Baltic United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
