Larry Eugene Smith

| July 11, 2019

COSHOCTON -January 4, 1945 – July 8, 2019.

Larry Smith was born in Coshocton County on January 4, 1945. He was the third of nine children born to George and Pauline Smith.

He married his beloved wife of over forty years, Carol, on April 24, 1966. On October 21, 1966 their only child, Debbi, was born. Larry built his home out in Fresno to raise his daughter in and it is where he and his wife spent the remainder of their days. While raising their daughter, Debbi, they were also raising their nephew Jonathan. After they had successfully raised Debbi and Jonathan, they subsequently raised three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Larry retired from Clow, but even after retirement he continued to work because he was a believer in the value of a hard days work. He was an avid lover of cars, wood working, and hunting. He was the definition of a people person and loved going out to talk to his friends. Larry is forever reunited with his wife, Carol, and his daughter, Debbi.

He leaves behind his great nephew Jonathan (Christine) Ladrach; his double great nephew Collin Ladrach and his double great niece Myleigh Ladrach; grandchildren Brandon Chaney, Cody (Grace) Hacker, and Kylie Lusk; great-grandchildren, Shawntae Smith, Raelynn Chaney, Mariah Milici, and Annabelle and Beau Hacker; he also leaves behind four brothers Keith (Sandy), Dean (Penny), Rick (Mary), and Randy (Jennifer) Smith; four sisters Marilyn (Bob) Hall, Linda (Alvin) Hostetler, Dixie (Ben) Wilson, and Judy (Terry) Mizer; and countless friends who will never forget his smile and friendly wave from his riding lawn mower.
