Request for bids

Sealed bids will be received by the Service Director of the City of Coshocton, Ohio until 11:00 AM on the May 22, 2019 for the demolition of 710 Elm Street, Coshocton, OH 43812. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 AM on May 22, 2019. All proposals can be mailed or turned into the Service Director, 760 Chestnut Street, Coshocton, OH 43812. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bond with an approved surety company or a cashier’s check on a solvent bank drawn and made payable to the City of Coshocton in the sum of $1,000.00. The successful bidder will be responsible for all permits from the City of Coshocton. Bidder will also be responsible for the disconnection of all utilities and the capping of the city sewer. Bidder will not cover the project until such time as a sewer inspection is completed. The successful bidder will then be responsible for hauling away all debris, none can be buried in the basement. The basement is then to be filled with sand, leveled off and topsoil placed on top. The price is to include the removal of all materials. The ground is then to be seeded and strawed.
