WARSAW- Lewis D. “Big Lou” Mizer, 75, of US 36, died July 30, 2015 at his residence.

He was born July 30, 1940 to the late Donald Leo and Hazel Faye (Shaw) Mizer. He was a lifelong farmer and a logger by heart.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy A. (Sampsel) Mizer of Warsaw, whom he married March 8, 1963.  Three children, Carolyn S. (Ed) Boeshart, Randy L. (Patty Smith) Mizer, & Kemberley A. (Rick) Bosley.  Grandchildren, Carrie A. (Eddie) Mosholder, Lisa J. (Matt) Wright, Morgan S. Bosley, Lewis L. Mizer,  & Jake Bosley.  Great grandchildren, Chase Mosholder, Kamron A. Wright, Dyson Mosholder & Miaya M. Wright.  Brothers & sisters, Faye Harding, Peggy Wilson, Dick, Larry, Jim, Tom, Jack, & Steve Mizer and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Mizer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. Visitation is one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
