Louis J. Heil

Louis J. Heil passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2020. He was born May 10, 1942 to Louis F. And Ruth (Green) Heil in Cleveland, Ohio. He is survived by his wife Mary (Hunter) Heil, sons Aaron Heil, Zachary Heil both of Columbus, daughter Amy Heil of Texas and Claire Badger of Columbus, grandson Gilbert Badger.

Lou graduated from St. Edward High School in Lakewood, OH and later graduated from The Ohio State University in 1965. He served as an officer in the US Army from 1967-1969. He worked in sales for both Pretty Products and Steel Ceilings in Coshocton, OH. Lou was a life member of Elks Lodge 376 and AMVETS Post 89 as well as belonging to VFW 1330. Lou loved to spend time with his family and many friends, golf and hunt deer. After cremation, there will be a private family gathering to scatter his ashes in one of his favorite places. Donations may be made in the form of a book to the Coshocton Public Library or to a veteran’s charity of your choice.
