WARSAW- Mary Elizabeth Sparks, 84, died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

She was born Feb. 24, 1935 in Columbus to the late John and Hazel Mae (Houk) Trotter. She was a member of the Perry Chapel Baptist Church

Mary’s passion was witnessing to others about Christ, being a Sunday School teacher for over 40 years and teaching anyone young or old who was hungry to learn about the Bible.

She is survived by a son, Emmett (Laura) Sparks of Warsaw; two grandchildren, Eric (Lauren) Sparks & Melissa Sparks; two great-grandchildren, June Barbara Sparks & Avery Adore Crow; and a sister, Sue Braun.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Chris Eric Sparks; two granddaughters, June Elizabeth Sparks & Rachel Nicole Sparks; and two brothers, Jack & Phil Trotter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 at Perry Chapel Baptist Church, 19476 TR 380 Warsaw, OH 43844, with Pastor Dave Fowls officiating. Burial will follow in Perry Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
