Motorcycle accident reported

COSHOCTON – On Aug. 19, at 6:50 p.m., dispatch received several 911 calls of a motorcycle accident in the 3100 block of State Route 541. Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined that 49-year-old Michael R. Harrison of West Lafayette, who was wearing his helmet, was traveling west on SR. 541 when he rounded a curve and lost control of his motorcycle. He was later flown to Akron General Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Assisting deputies at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, MedFlight, Three Rivers Fire District, Prince’s Wrecker Service and Coshocton County React. This accident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
