Newpointe’s going to the movies

| June 18, 2019

COSHOCTON — Movies are something we all love. They are inspiring, creative, fun, and full of suspense and adventure. Our favorite summer message series, At the Movies, returns June 23. During this five-week series, we will take a look at some of our favorite movies, uncover what those movies are communicating, and connect the dots to the Bible and how they teach us about issues like teamwork/selflessness, learning from past experiences, and the power of kindness. We will be looking at Avengers: Infinity/End Game, Jurassic World, Sully, Wonder, and The Greatest Showman. During the series, we will show snippets of these popular films.

In addition, the campus will be decked out with movie greatness, which will provide ample photo opportunities. “We are decorating with red carpet, stations, superheroes, and movie posters,” said Rich Ronald, Coshocton Campus Pastor. “Decorating our environments is a fun way to engage the entire family.”

On Sunday, July 21, kids can come to church dressed as their favorite movie character. So, join us at the movies this summer.

NewPointe Community Church has services at the Coshocton High School. Service times are 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Environments for birth through grade 12 are available. Contact 330-493-0369. Visit our website at newpointe.org.
