The Mentoring Center makes a big difference in the lives of both the child and the mentor. In this program, the child is less likely to use drugs, more likely to attend and do well in school, and more likely to be able to communicate with their family. The mentor has the satisfaction of knowing that he or she is making a big difference in the child’s life and also makes a new friend.
