Our Town Stories will focus on Christmas carols

| November 23, 2020

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum’s most loved program is back. Staff decided that 2020 needs to end with lots of cheer and happiness, so on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. Our Town Stories will focus on Christmas carols. Which carols do you remember singing from your childhood? Did you ever go caroling or did the carolers come to you? What is your favorite Christmas song? Does your family have any Christmas music traditions? This conversation animates “the old days” as we conjure up memories, share personal stories, and recall Coshocton County as it once was.

JHM’s Our Town Stories has changed as a result of new health and safety guidelines. Live discussions will be held online using Zoom, and topics will be posted online for further comments and leisure reading. This program is free, however due to capacity restrictions registration is required to be admitted into the live discussions, registration is mandatory. Please contact JHM or register through our website to take part in the conversation. Registration ends Tuesday, Dec. 8.

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman St., Coshocton. Support for this program has been provided by The Ohio Arts Council with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans. Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Every Sunday offers free admission to Coshocton County residents.
