Weyand001WARSAW- Ray Eugene Weyand, 87, formerly of Rittman, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at Signature Healthcare in Coshocton.

He was born Aug. 3, 1929 in Somerset, PA to the late John E. and Jenny (Beck) Weyand.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He retired from his work as an operating engineer for Imhoff Construction of Orrville.  He enjoyed life, especially spending time outdoors.  He always put his wife and family before himself, and he loved his grandchildren dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joy (Riley) Weyand of Warsaw, whom he married Nov. 9, 1957; a son, Todd (Kathy) Weyand of Warsaw; and three grandchildren, Jason Rose, Joshua Curry, and Amanda (Michael) Weyand-Flickenger.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Michael Weyand; two brothers, Charles & John Weyand; and a sister, Betty Singo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Monroe Township.  Calling hours are from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
