Relay for Life 2018 season to kick off soon

| September 7, 2017

COSHOCTON – It is officially the 2018 season of Coshocton County Relay For Life. We are one year, one season closer to finding a cure and not having to think about our loved ones hearing the dreaded words, “You have cancer”. This is a war we will win with all of us working together to Finish The Fight!

The 2018 Kickoff Open House will be Monday, Sept. 18 from 6 – 7 p.m. in the RHDD gymnasium. The Leadership Team will be available to answer questions and help you to set your team fundraising goal for this year if you have not done so already. We will have computers available to register your team and you can pick up your team captain packets. There will also be refreshments available.

We are still looking for fair baskets for our fair booth. Baskets will be due at the fairgrounds in Commercial Building #1 by 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28th. You may make plans to drop them off to Amber if you cannot attend that evening. We also have 14 one day passes for individuals willing to work at least a six-hour shift at the booth. Times will be from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily from Friday, Sept. 29 through Thursday, Oct. 5. Please call 740-509-0196 to schedule your desired time.

Mark your calendar for the rest of our meetings for this year. They are as follows:

Monday, Oct. 16

Monday, Nov. 20

We will not have a meeting in December so everyone can spend more time with their loved ones for the holiday season.

There is a men’s softball tournament coming up on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Lake Park. Stef will have more information at the kickoff. We are also planning a mixed gender tournament for the spring.

If you have any questions, please call Tracy Barnhouse at the number mentioned above. We would love for new individuals who may be interested in starting a team to come to the kickoff Sept. 18 and talk with us.
