Ronald Dean Conard

Ronald Dean Conard, 77, of Coshocton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Kobacker House in Columbus following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

Born August 29, 1935 in Coshocton, he was the son of the late Arthur L. and Lela M. (Norris) Conard. A 1954 graduate of Coshocton High School, Ron went on to serve in the Air Force with the 509th Bomb Wing. Ron returned to Coshocton to raise his family, spending over 30 years with Clow Corporation as a Foreman.

Ron will be remembered for his devotion to family, and love of golfing, boating and hunting.

Ron will be missed by his son Craig (Krista) Conard of Sunbury, daughter Jackye  (Michael) Little of Nashport, step-daughter Tina (Lance) Evans of Sunbury, step-son Todd (Nicole) Cilona of Canton and loving grandchildren, the light and love of his life; Hillary, Kara, Hannah, Chase, Jared, Anthony, Caleb, Nathan, Hailey, and great grand-daughter Rylinn; brothers Richard (Ginger) Conard of Westerville, Jimmy (Brenda) Conard, of Aiken, South Carolina; and sister Shirley Schweitzer of Coshocton, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by two sisters Betty Spring and Jean Nelson.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton.  Services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, September 27. Interment will follow at Branch Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Coshocton County Veterans Council.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memoriums may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 70 W. Streetsboro St., Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236.
