RVHS to honor veterans

COSHOCTON – Thursday, Feb. 1 the River View Girls’ Basketball team will have a home junior varsity/varsity game with Utica High School. Prior to the start of the varsity warm-up, the River View Athletic Department will be recognizing any veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces that are in attendance at the contest.  The junior varsity game starts at 6 p.m. and veterans are asked to arrive at the school by 6:30 p.m.

Any Military Veteran that attends the game Feb. 1 will get in free to the contest and there will be a small ceremony for the veterans to honor them for their service to our country.

Jim Barstow of the Coshocton County Veterans Services will be in attendance and assisting with the ceremony.
