COSHOCTON – Rebecca R. Porteus, vice president at Century National Bank, announced the promotion of Kandy M. Sampsel to banking center manager of the plaza Office.

“Kandy has a lot of experience in banking and this is a great opportunity for her,” said Porteus. “Kandy has a reputation of being a reliable banker and providing great customer service. This, along with her lending experience, and dedication that comes with being a local resident, makes her an excellent fit to lead Century’s Plaza Office.”

Sampsel joined Century in 2015 bringing with her more than 10 years of banking experience from the Coshocton area. In her new role as banking center manager, Sampsel will oversee the operations of the office as she continues assisting customers with all types of deposit and loan products, including loans for homes, new and used vehicles, RVs, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, and more.

As a local native, Sampsel graduated from River View High School before attending The Ohio State University. Sampsel enjoys volunteering her time for local organizations and events, including serving as a board member of the Montgomery Foundation. Sampsel and her husband Jim reside in Fresno. They have three grown children: Brian, Cory and Katie.

Century has two locations within Coshocton: 229 N. Third St. and 100 Downtowner Plaza. Sampsel will continue to work in her current location at the bank’s Downtowner Plaza office. She can be reached at 740-623-0114 or [email protected].
