Sheriff’s office makes drug related arrests

COSHOCTON – On April 6, at approximately 3:54 p.m., detectives and SRT members from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Vine Street in the City of Coshocton. Five adults, four females and one male, were taken into custody and remain at the Justice Center at this time.  A large amount of various illicit drugs, drug related items, cash and firearms were seized during the raid.

On April 9, Todd C. Pettis, 41 years old and from the Columbus area, and Linda M. Murray, 48 years old and from the Coshocton area, were both charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a felony of the first degree. Additional charges are anticipated after the case is reviewed by the Coshocton County Prosecutor Jason Given.

The remaining three females were released from custody as part of this ongoing investigation.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office were the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office and Coshocton County Dog Warden.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
