On Oct. 7, the Sheriff’s Office investigated three accident(s) and four complaint(s).

 

Accidents

6:20 AM: Grant Ford of West Lafayette was northbound on CR 236 when he struck a deer

3:41 PM: Terry McConnell was backing out of a driveway onto Pleasant Vallet Drive, failed to yield to oncoming traffic, and struck a vehicle operated by Alex Taylor

4:03 PM: Brittany Davis of Coshocton was stopped at the intersection of SR 541 and S 11th Street when she backed into Derek Zerbe of Coshocton

 

Complaints

5:57 AM: Malissa Merck of Coshocton reported a male subject outside refusing to leave. Upon investigation, Gilbert Walton of Coshocton was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing

12:43 PM: Janie Cox of Coshocton reported damage to her residence

5:45 PM: George Crowthers of Coshocton reported the theft of items from his vehicle

6:05 PM: Walmart reported a male shoplifter. Upon investigation, Alexander Potter of Painesville was charged with theft
