Some services returning to Zanesville VA Clinic

COLUMBUS – A portion of the Zanesville VA Clinic will be reopened on Monday, Sept. 10 for patients with additional temporary clinical space being utilized in the same plaza of the existing Zanesville VA Clinic, 2800 Maple Avenue, Zanesville. The temporary clinical space is located in Suite J, adjacent to the 2800 Maple Avenue location. Final repairs to areas damaged by the recent flooding are expected to be completed by late October with full services returning to the clinic at that time.

All primary care, lab, pharmacy and behavioral health services will take place in areas cleared for occupancy in the Zanesville VA Clinic or in the temporary clinical space (Suite J) located near the existing clinic. Signage will be displayed to help patients find the temporary clinic. Veterans will be contacted by the VA to confirm the location of their appointments.

Patients with eye clinic appointments will continue to receive their care from either the Daniel L. Kinnard VA Clinic, 1855 W. Main Street, Newark, or the Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans Outpatient Clinic, 420 North James Road, Columbus, until repairs are completed at the Zanesville VA Clinic.

The Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans Outpatient Clinic is a joint commission accredited complexity level two facility serving over 42,000 veterans in 13 counties of Ohio. The Veterans Outpatient Clinic is located in Columbus and is part of the VA Central Ohio Healthcare System, which includes community clinics are located in: Grove City, Marion, Newark, and Zanesville. The VA Central Ohio Healthcare System also is the parent organization for a Veterans Readjustment Counseling Center (Vet Center) located in downtown Columbus. The VA Central Ohio Healthcare System is a part of the VA Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 10 that serves more than 500,000 veterans throughout the lower peninsula of Michigan, Ohio/Northern Kentucky and Indiana.
