Schweitzer Picture croppedCOSHOCTON – Thomas “Tommy” L. Schweitzer, 50, of Coshocton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Newark on March 20, 1966.

Tommy was an independent truck driver, worked part time at the Army Navy and previously worked at Hilltop Golf Course and ran the Riverfront Bar and Grill.  He was also a member of the Eagles and AMVETS.  Tom enjoyed fishing, listening to music, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Ashley (Fiancé Kevin Haneberg) Schweitzer; son Austin Schweitzer; mother Marilyn (Maddox) Hagg and step father Harry Haag; sister’s Sandra (Ervin) McCormick and Barbara (Lynn) Grubb.

Tom is preceded in death by his father Roger Schweitzer; grandparents Ella Courson, Joseph Schweitzer and Marie and Chuck Maddox.

Friend may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM. Immediately following, a Celebration Of Life will be held at the Army Navy. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be directed to The Miller funeral Home, to help defray funeral expenses, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com
