Tonya Marie Delafeld, 42, of Powell, formerly of Coshocton passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.

Tonya was born in Coshocton on June 17, 1978.  She graduated from River High School and the Cosmetology program at Coshocton County Career Center.

She was currently the owner and operator of ATC Hair Studio in Powell. It was always Tonya’s dream to one day have her own hair salon. Tonya treasured spending time with her children, family and friends, she will be missed dearly.

Tonya is survived by her two children Trenton (Leah) Plantz of Delaware, OH and Tori (Trent Peterman) Whisman of Powell; father Kenneth (Colleen Kirker) Posey of Coshocton; mother Kendra (Jim) Kirker of Coshocton; granddaughter Katherine Plantz; grandmother Marilyn Shaffer-Gonter of Coshocton; sisters Renee (Quince Wise) Guilliams of PA and Kellyn Posey of Powell; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Roy and Lee Stout and Asa Shaffer Jr.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. where funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Calkins officiating. A cremation will take place after the funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Columbus Humane Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Due to Covid-19, we are requiring visitors coming to the funeral home to wear their own face masks and we will be limiting the number of attendees inside the building.
