Welcome Christmas with Miracle on Main Street

COSHOCTON – Our Town Coshocton is welcoming the holiday season with several fun activities on Friday, Nov. 18, including the annual Miracle on Main Street parade. The non-profit, volunteer driven organization plans several annual events in the downtown area to help foster a sense of community among local citizens. In addition to Miracle on Main Street, Our Town Coshocton is also responsible for First Friday Celebrations, Ice Carving Festival, and, in 2017, will partner with Appalachian Bacon Nation for the Bacon Festival. Miracle on Main Street Parade

When: 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, Downtown Coshocton

Info: At 6:30 p.m., the popular lighted parade will begin at the fairgrounds and follow the route of Seventh Street to Walnut to Sixth and then down Main to Third street. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children at the BKH Events studio located at 419 Main St. A photo with Santa will be made available for purchase by BKH Events for a nominal fee. New for 2016 will be the addition of food vendors selling a variety of hot food items. With the assistance of the 2017 class of Leadership Coshocton County, cookies and cocoa will once again be offered free of charge while supplies last.

Santa Beard Contest

When: 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, Fourth and Main streets

Info: The contest, which is intended for fun and entertainment, is open to participation by all. No preregistration is required to enter the contest.
