Wesney selected to play in All-American Games

SARASOTA, Fla. – Hudson Wesney was selected to Game Day USA’s junior All-American games fueled by Gatorade that was played in Sarasota, FL on Nov. 24 – 26 at the Baltimore Orioles spring training complex.

There were five 13U all-star teams in the tournament. The teams featured 13 year olds from across the United States selected by baseball scouts, which are college and a few pros from the Chicago White Sox.

Wesney was a member of the White Team and had a great tournament. He was the starting short stop for his team and had a 535 batting average for the weekend.

The white team finished second in the All-American Games. It was so exciting.

Wesney was also named to the All-Tournament Team. That’s a great honor. Ten kids were picked and were voted for by coaches and scouts.

Wesney is the son of Rorey and Katie Wesney of Warsaw and Jillian Wesney of Coshocton. He is a seventh grader at Coshocton Junior High School.
