COSHOCTON- A. Elaine Gilmore, 76, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at the Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 5, 1940 in Coshocton to the late Everett Lawrence and M. Madonna (Krownapple) Gilmore. She was a former receptionist for Dr. Secrest for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, as well as the Catholic Women’s Club.  She loved traveling, watching Soap Operas, and visiting with friends and relatives.

She is survived by a maternal cousin, Karen (James) Shaw of Warsaw; paternal cousins Robert (Chris) Gilmore and James (Caroline) Gilmore, both of Coshocton; and many second and third cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Gilmore; a special aunt, Mrs. J. Langdon (Helen) Harrah; and first cousins Edward (Sandra) Krownapple and Margaret Summers.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coshocton, with Father Homer Blubaugh officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery at Spring Mountain.  Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw from 5-7 p.m., with a Christian wake service at 6:45 p.m.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
