| May 17, 2016

COSHOCTON – The Appalachian Bacon Nation is returning to downtown Coshocton on Saturday, Sept. 10. The community Bacon Festival, in collaboration with Kraft Heinz, Our Towne Coshocton and Pomerene Center for the Arts is developing into an exciting event that will feature all things bacon including: Bacon & Legs 5K Run; Fatherhood Initiative free family pancake breakfast; Junior Bacon fun land for kids; live music all day; Bacon King and Queen Contest (high school seniors, winners receive a scholarship); bacon-eating contest; bacon cooking contest; beer garden at Park Hotel site; Poker (Porker) Run and motorcycle show; plus much more.

Organizers of the event are still looking for sponsors to help make ABN a delicious success. With a sponsorship of $100 or more, your company or organization’s name will appear on marketing material, announced on radio spots and will be announced live several times during the festival. Your name will also appear on the official Appalachian Bacon Nation T-Shirt. You may also choose to sponsor a particular portion of the festival such as the Jr. Bacon Fun Land for the kids, the king and queen contest or the music stage. Each of these exclusive sponsorships is $500 or more. Your company or organization’s name will be posted at that area as the exclusive sponsor.

Deadline for confirming sponsorship to have your name on the festival T-Shirt is Aug. 1. Sponsorships will also be accepted after this date. Find a printable sponsor form at http://www.appalachianbaconnation.com/sponsors.html.
