Benny Cook

Benny Cook, 66, of West Lafayette passed away on Thursday November 27, 2014 at his home. He was born in Oceana, WV on April 29, 1948 to the late Christine and Seldon Cook. Benny served in the United States Army during Vietnam War and worked in the Coal Mines for 33 years. He loved to golf, fish and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife Brenda Cook of West Lafayette; son Travis Cook of Colorado Springs, CO; step-daughters Teddi Hadrosky of Frazeysburg, OH and Brooke Plute of South Bend, IN; brother Gary Cook of Kernersville, SC; brother-in-law Gene Blankenship of Cyclone, WV; and a sister-in-law Jenny (Victor) Hottinger of Plainfield, OH. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Donna Blankenship. Per Benny’s wishes a cremation has taken place.
