Betty J. Hart

WARSAW -Betty Jean (Callentine) Hart, 87, of Park Dr., died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born May 31, 1927 in Coshocton to the late Edith Helwig. She married Donis William Hart on April 24, 1947, who died July 15, 1980. She later married E. Fred McClain on Dec. 25, 1987, who preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2002. She was a former Warsaw Village Councilwoman, and was very active in the Warsaw Business Association and an avid supporter of the River View Community Park. She enjoyed reading, watching fireworks and having a good conversation. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters; Lavada Egler of Newark, and Rhonda (Neil) Rees of Buckeye Lake, six grandchildren; Julie Greenawalt, Donnie (Annatta) Egler, Tabatha (Basil) Stotts, B.J. (Misty) Shaw, Erin Shaw, and Tracie Shaw, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a half-sister, Elizabeth.

In addition to her mother and husbands, she is preceded in death by a grandmother, Effe Shaw, a step-father, Faye Clark, and a grandchild, Tawnie Rees.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at Valley View Cemetery with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25th at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
