Bev Hawthorne

COSHOCTON – Bev Hawthorne, 86, passed away on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at her residence.

She was born May 9, 1931 in Coshocton to John Raymond and Doris Oneita (Elder) Hawthorne. She was a former sewer at both Indianapolis Glove and Edmont in Coshocton, and retired after working in the deli at Buehler’s for many years. She loved animals, her flowers, and working outdoors.

Bev is survived by her nieces and nephews; Pamela Pastor, Becky (Tom) Reed, Jack (Betty) Hawthorne, Jerry (Marla) Hawthorne, Ken Hawthorne and Tom Hawthorne, and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers; Duane “Skunky” Hawthorne, Wade Ledonis Hawthorne, and Kenneth R. Hawthorne.

No services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,, or by phone at 800-805-5856, or to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter, 21755 TR 164 Coshocton, 43812. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.
