Beverly A. Hursey

Beverly A. Hursey, 81, of West Lafayette, passed away at her home on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020.

Beverly was born in Coshocton County on June 3, 1939 to the late Edwin and Delpha (Sisley) Norris. She graduated from Union High School and worked in sales at Hickory Flats Golf Course in West Lafayette for 28 years and was a Hospice volunteer for 10 years. Beverly was also a member of the 1st Baptist Church of West Lafayette.

She is survived by her two sons David Thornsley and Todd (Christy) Thornsley both of West Lafayette; step-daughter Cheryl (Brian) Wilson of Warsaw; 6 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; niece Ellen Couts; and other nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lester “Bud” Hursey who she married Oct. 7, 1986, Bud passed away on April 19, 2014; daughter Pamela Mounts, and two sisters Charlotte Miskimens and Betty Miller.

Per Beverly’s wishes, a cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on a later date.
