Cecil Wayne Hoffstatter

Cecil Wayne Hoffstatter, 86, of Coshocton, passed away, Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at his home. He was born on Sept. 22, 1935, in Jackson Township, Coshocton to the late Ina Bell (Dickerson) Hoffstatter and Henry A. Clark. He enlisted in the United State Air Force on Feb. 24, 1953, serving in the Far East and Labradore, attaining the rank of sergeant. He was a truck driver for Farimont Foods, Trans-Service, Beautemiller and Ross Bros Co.

Cecil is survived by his daughters, Linda Putman and Cheryl (Bill) Hardesty; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild as well as his beloved dog and two cats.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Eleanor “Mitzie”; one brother, one sister and one nephew.

Per his wishes, a cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2021, at 3 p.m. at the Eagles lodge club in Coshocton. A private burial will follow at a later date.
