Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the annual Chocolate Extravaganza

| February 7, 2018

COSHOCTON – The 26th annual Chocolate Extravaganza will be Saturday, Feb. 10 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Coshocton County Career Center, 23640 Airport Rd., Coshocton.

As tradition would have it, on the weekend before Valentine’s Day paired with the “Shop for your Sweetheart” event at the Lock Landing in Roscoe from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and the “Lake Park Big Band Sweetheart Dance” from 8 – 11 p.m. at the pavilion, the 26th Annual Chocolate Extravaganza falls right in the middle from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Coshocton County Career Center with bakers from all across the county making delicious chocolate-themed desserts. This event is one not to be missed! You’ll find everything here from peanut clusters to mint chocolate cheesecake scattered across a sea of desserts that fill the career center cafeteria with glorious scents! For the second year in a row, a friend of the Pomerene, Marsha Cusin, has made a beautiful quilt for us to raffle off at the event! Tickets may be purchased one for $5 or three for $10. Throughout the festivities, entertainment will be provided by local talents Heath Chaney, vocalist and Jane Crow, pianist. Tickets are $10 presale and $12 at the door. This year, we’re offering more ticket outlet locations than ever. You’ll find them at Dean’s Jewelry, Medbery Marketplace, Baker’s IGA, Coshocton Village Inn & Suites, Mercantile On Main, CC’s Village Market in West Lafayette, and of course at The Pomerene Center for the Arts.

This is the Pomerene Center’s largest fundraiser of the year and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our amazing community generous sponsors: Dean’s Jewelry, Endsley Insurance Agency Representing Wayne Insurance Group, Amber + Elle Photography, Medbery Marketplace, Roscoe Village Sweets & Treats, Rainbow Hills Winery, Warehouse Steak ‘n’ Stein, Donovan Charles Interiors, Frase, Weir, Baker & McCullough Co., Coshocton Village Inn & Suites, Helmick Farms, Knob Hill Design, Kyle Libby State Farm Insurance Agency, Wilson, Phillips, & Agin, Cpa’s, Inc., Organic Technologies, and Mercantile On Main.
