Charles ‘Sonny’ L. Elliott

Charles “Sonny” L. Elliott, 78, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 27, 1943 to the late Charles and Lulabell (Colegrove) Elliott. He was a laborer at General Motors until his retirement. He loved fishing and camping and being a true blue hillbilly.

Sonny is survived by his daughter, Lisa (John) Countryman of Coshocton; sister, Ella Mae “Sissy” Kastura; grandchildren, Steven, Changdera, Scott, Dustin, Charles “Chucky”, Walter, Jordan, Renee, Kelsey and Dorothy; 46 great-grandchildren with two on the way.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Phillip Harley Davidson Clyde.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ken Morrison and Pastor Stan Braxton officiating. A cremation will follow the services with burial at Franklin Cemetery.
