Children help animal shelter

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Animal Shelter animals were visited by some very special people on May 2. They were 7-10 year old softball teams, Miss Jennifer dance studio coaches, Brandon Wesney, with Assistant Eric Aronhalt and Coach Angela Williamson, Coshocton Trucking team. The children donated food, treats, and toys for the animals. They were able to take some dogs outside to romp and play. The dogs got a lot of hugs, and attention from the children and that sure made their day. Inside they were able to love and play with the kitties. The kitties love the attention and play time.

I started my journalism career in 2002 with a daily newspaper chain. After various stops with them, I am happy to be back home! I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University. I also earned several awards while working for daily papers, including being honored by Coshocton County’s veterans for the stories I wrote about them.
